📝 Google Docs Itinerary Template
An itinerary template that pastes into Google Docs as a real table — the trick is to go through Google Sheets first, because tab-separated text pasted straight into a Doc stays plain text. Click “Copy for Google Sheets”, paste into a blank Sheet, select the cells, copy again, and paste into your Doc (choose “Link to spreadsheet” or “Paste unlinked”). Or print this page as a PDF.

Google Docs Itinerary FAQ
How do I get a real table into Google Docs?
Click “Copy for Google Sheets”, paste into a blank Google Sheet (cell A1), select the filled cells, copy, then paste into your Doc. Docs asks whether to link to the spreadsheet or paste unlinked — linked tables can be refreshed from the Sheet later. Pasting the copied text directly into Docs gives you tab-separated lines, not a table.
Should I keep the itinerary in Docs or Sheets?
Docs when it's part of a document — a welcome letter, a group trip packet, a wedding weekend schedule. Sheets when you need to sort by day or total a cost column. A linked table in Docs gives you both: edit in the Sheet, click Update in the Doc.
How do I share it with the people I'm travelling with?
Share the Doc with “Anyone with the link” as Commenter or Editor from the Share button. If you'd rather not use a Google account at all, open the itinerary in the builder here and use “Share link” — the itinerary lives inside the link, nothing is uploaded.
