Family Vacation Itinerary FAQ
Why morning, afternoon, and evening instead of exact times?
Kids don't run on the clock. Three blocks a day with a rain backup keeps the plan flexible enough to survive a late nap or a meltdown without throwing the whole day out.
How many activities a day works with young kids?
One anchor activity per day plus downtime is the pace most families settle on after the first over-scheduled trip. Put the anchor in whichever block suits the kids' energy — usually morning — and leave the rest loose.
Can I add a cost or packing column?
Yes. Open it in the builder and click “+ Add column”; the new column is included in print, CSV, and Google Sheets export. Delete the Backup column the same way if you're going somewhere it never rains.
